According to insider NatetheHate , Square Enix is preparing to launch Final Fantasy VII Rebirth on Xbox Series S|X and Nintendo Switch 2 consoles sometime in 2026.

The rumor admittedly doesn't come as a huge surprise. The Japanese publisher has long since turned a new leaf from its PlayStation exclusivity days, vowing to bring more of its games to other consoles as well. Moreover, the first game in the remake trilogy, Final Fantasy VII Remake, is officially heading to both platforms at some point in this Winter season.

It only stands to reason that the second entry, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, would soon follow. After all, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth already made it to PC earlier this year, and its debut on the platform helped the game reach third place in January's Circana best-selling
