Millions of Brits aged 55 and over feel “left behind” by today’s TV despite being the generation who watch it most, a new report reveals. ‌

An in-depth study by Freeview channel network Great! found that more than a quarter (26%) of mature viewers feel forgotten by today’s TV producers, despite watching more television than any other age group – an average of 3hrs 42mins a day. ‌

There are 22 million over-55s in the UK, around a third of the total population. ‌
