COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) -- Good Tuesday morning! It’s another comfortable start across the valley, with early temperatures ranging from the low to upper 60s.

Today brings plenty of sunshine, a light breeze, and afternoon highs climbing into the mid to upper 80s as high pressure firmly settles in for the week ahead.

Tonight: Clear and pleasant, with lows dipping into the upper 50s and low 60s.

Looking ahead to Wednesday, expect similar conditions, with each afternoon gradually warming a bit more through the rest of the week.

However, it's worth noting — rainfall has been scarce through August and into early September. With dry weather continuing, the ground will only get drier in the days ahead with drought conditions slowly inching back.
