The Hawaii women’s volleyball team notched three weekly conference honors on Monday, one day after winning the Outrigger Invitational.

Freshman Cha’lei Reid, who was named the tournament’s most outstanding player, followed that up with a Big West Offensive Player of the Week honor.

The 6-foot outside hitter, who prepped at Kahuku, had 50 kills and 10 aces in 11 sets played. She had six aces in Sunday’s sweep of St. John’s after going for a career-high 26 kills in Thursday’s five-set loss to San Jose State.

She leads the conference and ranks 31st nationally averaging 0.68 aces per set.

Senior middle blocker Bri Gunderson, who averaged 1.64 blocks and 2.36 kills per set in the tournament, was named the Big West Defensive Player of the Week.
