ROCHESTER, NY (WROC) - It is another beautiful day with temperatures in the 60s and lower 70s under mostly sunny skies.

We get even warmer Wednesday with a run toward the upper 70s. 80s will be tough as a back door cold front approaches. Basically, a separate dry and cold air mass from the north will curl back towards New England and push temperatures back down Thursday and Friday. There is very little moisture along this front, so its a drop in temperatures and a wind shift.

Some uncertainty exists on how we tackle the weekend forecast. Saturday is trending dry and warm, but a pseudo-cold front/low pressure is pivoting out of the Great Lakes to bring rain showers to the region potentially Sunday. This will probably verify somewhere within 500 miles of us, but that is to be determined. O
