BOSTON —

Boston police are asking for help in identifying a suspect in a Dorchester shooting.

At about 4:24 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 16, officers responded to a radio call for a person shot in the area of 326 Harvard St. The victim had multiple gunshot wounds and was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries. Latest Forecast

The suspect is described as wearing a white T-shirt, blue jeans and possibly a helmet. He was seen fleeing the scene on a scooter or moped, traveling on Harvard Street toward Morton Street before continuing onto Walk Hill Street, police said.
