NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – High humidity is present in Eastern to Northern New Mexico with little to no rainfall with showers dissipating earlier in the far-Northeast Highlands to Southeast New Mexico. East-gap winds are calm but very patchy fog is developing in the northern valley floors to the northeast parts of the Northeast Highlands.

Around-freezing temperatures are confined to the Northern Mountains peaks to the far-northern valley floors, while elsewhere is mostly starting off in the upper 40s to the 60s.

Westerly upper-level winds are bringing in more moisture with a low pressure system approaching from the northwest, but with a ridge in the jet stream still holding strong, courtesy of the eastward-movement in the high pressure system that has moved back into far-Southeast New Mexico, c
