A new era is about to begin at the Latrobe Football Club.
The Demons, on Tuesday, announced that they had signed former AFLW player Emma Pittman as a playing coach for the 2026 NWFL Women's season.
It comes three months after the club parted ways with Adrian Haberle .
The club, in a statement, said it was "over the moon" to secure the services of the 32-year-old, who will relocate from Queensland later this year.
"It's a pretty significant signing, probably one of the biggest signings in women's football in the state to date," the club said.
"We'll give Emma every bit of support she needs, and we'll get our women's program heading in the right direction.
"[We] don't think we could have got a better person."
