Maryland Gov. West Moore announced his 2026 reelection campaign Tuesday morning, saying he’s running again to stand up for the middle class.

Moore spoke of lowering taxes and crime rates and addressing unemployment in a video announcing his campaign. He took aim at President Donald Trump for “firing federal workers, gutting Medicaid, raising prices on everything from electricity to groceries.”
