The Baltimore City Council’s Public Safety Committee is pressing forward on its opioid response Tuesday.

A follow-up public hearing will be held and will focus on the city’s plan to address the on-going opioid epidemic, including strategies for harm reduction, overdose prevention and an approach to the open air drug market.

The 1 p.m. hearing will feature presentations from city agencies to identify steps to save lives and improve safety.
