(Reuters) -Yum Brands named executive Ranjith Roy as the KFC parent's finance chief on Tuesday, replacing Chris Turner who is taking over as CEO.
Roy had served as CFO of the e-commerce marketplace Goldbelly and had spent more than 15 years with Goldman Sachs before joining Yum Brands as chief strategy officer and treasurer in 2024.
Yum, in June, said Turner will take over the top job from October 1, succeeding company veteran David Gibbs.
The company also said on Monday that executive Sean Tresvant has been promoted to chief consumer officer and CEO of its Taco Bell division.
The Louisville, Kentucky-headquartered Yum Brands, which has about 61,000 restaurants globally, including Pizza Hut, had missed analysts' estimates for the second quarter in August, hit by higher ingredient costs and muted demand that weighed on its businesses, including Taco Bell.
