A Coventry car wash could be closed down if councillors refuse to grant retrospective planning permission when they meet this week. Eight letters objecting to the business in the car park of the Walsgrave Club, on the junction of Woodway Lane and Narberth Way, have been sent to Coventry City Council with another five supporting the application.
Planning officer Tom Cox has recommended that the plans be refused when they come before councillors on Thursday (September 11) afternoon on the grounds of unacceptable noise levels, disturbance and the adverse impact on the residential amenities of those living nearby.
