BRAINERD — Property tax increases are recommended for the First and Second assessment districts in Unorganized Territory in Crow Wing County.

“So for the First Assessment District, we're proposing a 5.85% property tax increase,” Nancy Malecha, county finance director said during the Aug. 26 budget meeting. “And then for the Second Assessment District, we're proposing a 9.49% property tax increase.”

The Crow Wing County Board serves as the town board for the First Assessment District and Second Assessment District of Unorganized Territory.
