The Internet has misidentified two women as being the “Phillies Karen” and one has allegedly personally denied that she’s the woman in the video, and another had their place of employment release a statement as well.

If you don’t know the backstory behind the now-viral video , at the September 5 Phillies vs. Marlins game, a homerun ball was hit into the stands. A man ran to get the ball and handed it to his son. A woman in the video – who has been dubbed “Phillies Karen” – marched over and appeared to get in an altercation with the man over who rightfully owned that ball. The man was so startled he took the ball from his child and gave it to her.

One woman was named reportedly Cheryl , and she allegedly denied any involvement!
