The husband of ex-Astronomer HR chief Kristin Cabot has broken his silence after his wife was caught up in the spotlight during the Coldplay kiss cam scandal.

Cabot, 52, filed for divorce less than a month afte r she was spotted canoodling her boss, Andy Bryon , 50, at a Coldplay concert in Boston on July 15.

Her then-husband, 61-year-old Andrew Cabot — CEO of Privateer Rum — said their split was already in motion before the incident made headlines.

“Their decision to divorce was already under way prior to that evening,” Andrew’s spokesperson told People, nearly two months after the scandal.

The spokesperson added the pair had “privately and amicably separated several weeks before the Coldplay concert,” and stressed, “No further public comment will be made.” Loading Tweet
