ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Multiple cars and a gate were damaged in the parking lot of an apartment complex on Alexander Street.

News 8 crews on scene saw that at least five cars were broken into overnight at Normandie Apartments, and the gate to the lot was also damaged. Residents of the complex woke up Tuesday morning to find shattered windows and a broken gate.

One of the residents whose car was damaged spoke with News 8. He said the owners of the complex reviewed surveillance footage and saw people damaging vehicles.

News 8 has reached out to the Rochester Police Department for further information.
