Wolf Alice guitarist Joff Oddie will miss the band’s North American tour due to the impending birth of his first child.

The musician made the announcement on social media Monday, Sept. 8.

“Hey Joff here, Just to let you all know I won’t be joining the guys on our North American tour as I’m awaiting the birth of my first baby,” Oddie wrote. “I’m sad I won’t be with you but I’ll be leaving you in the capable hands of John Victor who is one of my fav all time guitarists and a lovely man to boot. All my love, Joff.”

Victor is a member of indie rock group Gengahr. The band last toured in 2023 following the release of their album, “Red Sun Titans.”
