A Natuashish man convicted of second-degree murder for killing his common-law partner will be sentenced next month at Supreme Court in Happy Valley-Goose Bay.
Eric Rich, 55, was found guilty in December of murdering 37-year-old Angela Gregoire of Sheshatshiu, four years ago.
The Crown and defence submitted sentencing recommendations to Justice Stacy Ryan on Monday. The Crown is seeking 18 to 20 years without parole eligibility, while the defence wants 13 to 15 years.
