The head of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) remarked to reporters earlier this week that America’s top aviation authority was still reviewing the monthly production limit on Boeing 737 MAX jets. The FAA is still closely monitoring the assembly line in Renton, Washington.

Inspectors from the FAA oversee the entire process from start to finish and evaluate every plane that leaves the iconic Boeing factory. Boeing has not formally requested an increase over the 38-plane-per-month limit but just recently started to hit the max while both the 737-7 and 737-10 variants are expected to clear certification in the near future.
