The world hasn't stopped concentrating on the incident that unfolded over the weekend involving a dad who picked up a home run ball and giving it to his son before a woman ran over and berated him to get the ball back.
It's the Philadelphia Phillies fan confrontation that went mega-viral -- so much so that the Savannah Bananas have mocked it already -- with the dad (Drew Feltwell) speaking out about how it all went down.
Now, Feltwell has spoken further, per USA TODAY Sports: “Leave it alone. You know, somebody knows her and can talk to her, that's different. But God, I don't want people breaking in their house and stuff like that. The internet already messed her up pretty good."
We agree. Let's look back at what's happened the last few days that's led to too much backlash.
The Phillies fan was misidentified a first time
A woman was misidentified as working in the Hammonton School District in New Jersey, which led to this statement from the district: "The woman identified on social media as 'Phillies Karen' is not and has never been an employee of Hammonton Public Schools."
The Phillies fan was misidentified a second and third time
Two other women posted on Facebook, with one saying she was a Red Sox fan and the other saying "I got named as the ball grabber." Neither are that fan.
Did Jeffrey Lurie permanently ban the Phillies fan from Eagles games?
No. That's a viral Facebook post that is incorrect.
