Two brothers from Rome, GA were sentenced to prison following their convictions on drug charges in separate trials.
Both brothers were convicted on August 26, 2025.
The Lookout Mountain Judicial Circuit District Attorney's Office identified them as 25-year-old Trevion Williams and 26-year-old George Wright Jevard Williams, II.
Trevion Williams was convicted of trafficking fentanyl, possession of fentanyl with intent to distribute, and possession of fentanyl. He was sentenced to 10 years in prison.
His case began with a 2020 traffic stop on Highway 27 in Chattooga County for defective tail and tag lights, when the officer said he smelled marijuana coming from the car.
Williams was a back-seat passenger, who admitted he was just released from prison and "should be tagged as a gang membe
