WASHINGTON – On Friday, September 19, Historic Washington State Park will provide a special experience for homeschool groups. Students will experience Frontier Days as the 19th century pioneers would have experienced it. Programming at several sites around the park will be focused on the early settlement period of southwest Arkansas in the early 19th century. A frontier encampment will be located between the large Magnolia Tree and the Blacksmith Shop. Sign up early for this hands-on adventure! Event begins at 9:00am.
The frontier encampment will continue for visitors to the park on Saturday, September 20.
