A popular hot chicken restaurant in Louisville has rebranded.

Weeks after Louie's Hot Chicken and Barbecue closed temporarily to rework its menu, the business at 4222 Poplar Level Road reopened on Aug. 27 as Louie's Soups & Sandwiches, according to its Facebook page.

"We’re very excited to announce that today is reopening day," the post read. "While we’ve made some changes to the name and menu, our devotion to serving quality food will remain the same. Stop by Louie’s Soup & Sandwiches, we’re excited to see you!"
