It’s been a lost season for a while now. The damaged bodies have been adding up all year. The entire Opening Day starting rotation has been injured for a minimum of three months. Ronnie has been up and down. Riley is out for the year. Ozuna has been carrying an injury all year, and so has Murphy so he’ll be out. Profar has been out for a drug violation. And that’s not counting the murder of this offense, carried out by Tim Hyers at the organization’s command.

And man, I try to be a glass half full guy. So there are players on the active roster that would not have had the chance if this team could have stayed intact. Joey Wentz is one of them.
