Sky's Angel Reese trade rumors gain steam with stunning quote from WNBA exec

Angel Reese is less than pleased with the current direction of the Chicago Sky . Recent comments to the Chicago Tribune laid bare Reese's frustration at playing for a losing team -- and the Sky responded by suspending the two-time All-Star for the first half of Sunday's game against the Las Vegas Aces , after which the organization said "this matter has been handled and resolved internally."

Few though believe that is the case. The Sky has a long-standing reputation as one of the league's most unstable -- if not worst-run -- franchises, and Reese's insistence that she would not "settle for the same s---" in 2026 may well indicate that the star forward's WNBA future is elsewhere.
