LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) -- It was a cool start to the workweek, with most of Mid-Michigan waking up to temperatures in the mid-to-low 40s to kick off our Tuesday. Thankfully, there is a lot of sunshine in the forecast over the next several days, which will help boost both our high and low temperatures above average.

We are entering another extremely dry weather pattern across the region, with dry and sunny conditions in the forecast for the remainder of the week.

Our next chance for rain will arrive on Saturday, with a few showers possible throughout the day.

In addition to the sunshine and dry weather, above-average temperatures are set to return to the region.
