OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - Numerous crashes, along with a road closure on 72nd Street, affected the commute in the Omaha metro Tuesday morning.
Early Tuesday, Jaret Lansford with First Alert 6 Traffic warned drivers to expect wet roads in some parts of the metro from rain and storms.
Shortly after 6 a.m., there was a crash on Highway 370 and Wickersham, which showed delays westbound approaching the intersection.
Not long after, there was a crash at 144th and Meadows. Drivers were advised to watch for delays southbound in the area.
Travel was slow after crashes at 36th and Capehart and 156th and Timberlane in the 7 o’clock hour.
Other crashes that happened just before 8 a.m. included 192nd and Bellbrook and 49th and Harrison. Lansford notes that Millard and Gretna struggled Tuesday morning w
