Spotty rain is holding together over the Kansas City metro this morning. Showers are moving east, but the air over mid-MO is much drier so the showers will start to fall apart within the next few hours.
Some light rain is still possible for areas west of hwy 63, but many will not get any rain. This is our only rain chance for the week.
There will be a mixture of sun and clouds through Tuesday afternoon with more sunshine through the remainder of the week.
Temperatures will be increase along with the increase in sunshine. Highs will be in the lower 80s today with highs in the 90s by the end of the week.
Humidity will also be slowly increasing. Humidity will be more noticeable this weekend with heat indices nearing the middle 90s.
