FOCUS Greater Syracuse, Inc. and PEACE, Inc. will host the first of two free community convenings, Building Resilience for Human Service Staff and Families, on Tuesday, Oct. 1, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. at Plymouth Congregational Church, 232 E. Onondaga Street, Syracuse.

The October convening will provide an opportunity for direct service staff, parents and community members to learn from experts, participate in discussions and explore solutions to strengthen resilience and meet basic needs in Central New York.

The event builds on recommendations from the 2024 Whole Family Summit to Meet Basic Needs , also organized by FOCUS Greater Syracuse, Inc. and PEACE, Inc.

The morning will include light refreshments, a keynote address, breakout discussions and networking opportunities.
