A Chatham-Kent councillor will receive a formal reprimand, but no pay suspension, after her colleagues discussed an integrity commissioner’s report Monday night.

Chatham Coun. Alysson Storey and North Kent Coun. Rhonda Jubenville were investigated by integrity commissioner Suzanne Craig regarding complaints about their conduct involving the proposed $53 million hub that could replace the current civic centre in Chatham.

Craig found Storey did not breach rules with respect to improper use of influence, but violated rules regarding conduct respecting staff and discreditable conduct.

The commissioner recommended council impose a formal reprimand with respect to the first complaint against Storey and dock her pay for 10 days regarding the second complaint.
