BUCKHANNON, W.Va. (WV News) — A 48-year-old Buckhannon man accused of wrongdoing involving medical marijuana was among several individuals indicted this week by Upshur County grand jurors.
Michael Paul Wilkins was indicted on a count alleging criminal diversion of medical cannabis by a patient, according to Prosecutor Bryan Hinkle.
The charge is a felony, and if there's a conviction carries a possible penalty of 1 to 5 years in prison.
