Let’s spare a thought for those poor movie and other fictional ‘villains’ who were never really worthy of that title. For those unfortunate souls who had the simple misfortune of acting reasonably within an unreasonable world. Of committing often only one cardinal sin: Not fully aligning with their universe’s chosen ‘hero’.
