A BARBARIC Russian air strike on elderly civilians lining up for pensions has killed at least 24 people and injured 19 others.
Harrowing footage shows bodies littered around the site of the strike in Donetsk region in one of the most devastating attacks since the war began.
The glide bomb struck the village of Yarova - home to around 1,700 people before the war - at 11am.
After the local post office was closed last week as staff feared for their safety, a car was dispatched to hand out monthly pensions on Tuesday.
The barbaric strike on civilians has prompted fears that the coordinates of the vehicle may have been leaked.
Valium Filashkin, head of Donetsk Military Administration, said: “This is not military action - this is pure terrorism."
