Through this fall’s first frost, u-pick flower bouquets cost just over $1 per stem at West Side Blooms in Heber City. The calming effect of building a bouquet while browsing neat rows of bright flowers beside a picturesque red barn tucked into a residential block is harder to price.

Nancy Daybell and her daughter, Hannah Daybell, have run West Side Blooms farm stand in Nancy’s side yard at 340 W 400 N since 2022. This land has been in Nancy’s family for five decades — she helped her father build the barn when she was 11 years old.
