The Drug Enforcement Administration responded to Haddam to help with the cleanup of a meth lab on Staba Drive, according to the agency.
State police are leading the investigation, according to the DEA.

On Sunday, state police said only that they were investigating a suspicious incident on Staba Drive in Haddam and they asked people to avoid the area as they investigated.
The DEA said the cleanup ended on Monday.
Methamphetamine is a powerful synthetic stimulant and most used in the United States is illicitly manufactured, according to the National Institute on Drug Abuse.
