More mosquitoes have tested positive for West Nile virus in Chatham-Kent.

CK Public Health received confirmation that mosquitoes collected Sept. 3 from a trap in Dresden tested positive for the virus.

This is the first positive mosquitoes identified from this trap this season, the health unit said.

Last month, the health unit reported mosquitoes from traps in northwest and southeast Chatham, along with traps from Tilbury and August also tested positive for West Nile.
