Dozens of cargo containers spill into Port of Long Beach

A chaotic scene unfolded at the Port of Long Beach on Tuesday morning after dozens of containers fell off a cargo ship.

It's unclear how the containers fell off the barge, though one stack of containers had sustained visible damage.

Another vessel was situated alongside a larger cargo ship in what appeared to be an effort to catch the falling containers.

Meanwhile, a tugboat seemed to be using its motors to push floating containers back toward the dock.

The cause of the incident is unclear. No injuries have been reported.
