Sirens cut short U.S. Embassy Independence Day Celebration in Jerusalem Tuesday following alerts of missile fired from Yemen toward Israel.

The Israeli military later updated that it “intercepted a missile that was launched from Yemen.”

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu attended the event and delivered a speech.

It was not immediately clear if he was present at event during the sirens. The event was resumed following the interception.
