Anchorage Police are investigating after two people were found dead early this morning in Mountain View.

Officers were called to Davis Park on Mountain View Drive just after 3:00 a.m. Tuesday. They found a man and a woman deceased outside.

Police say observations at the scene have prompted a closer look into the circumstances of their deaths. The Crime Scene Team is processing the area, and the Medical Examiner will determine the official cause of death.

APD says there will be a continued police presence in the area, but there are no road closures at this time.

Investigators are asking people in the area to follow officers’ instructions as the investigation continues.
