A search has been launched for a new licensee at a Glasgow pub near Celtic Park .

The Fiveways Inn, Parkhead , is just a quarter of a mile from Paradise, and is located on the busy Gallowgate.

The pub is described by owners Admiral Taverns as being a “strong, established, community local” and “sports driven”. The firm is looking for the new licensee to put an investment of £12,000 into the pub to secure a five-year lease.

The pub is one of seven in Glasgow and North Lanarkshire that are looking for new Landlords and ladies. The pubs, owned by Admiral Taverns, include the currently-closed Millwood, Shawlands, on bustling Kilmarnock Road.
