COMSTOCK PARK, MI – The hottest team in pro baseball resides just north of Grand Rapids, and now, the West Michigan Whitecaps will try to turn an historic regular season into playoff glory.

The Detroit Tigers’ high-A affiliate begins its playoff run Tuesday at Lake County in the East Division best-of-three series. First pitch for the opener against the Cleveland Guardians’ minor league affiliate is scheduled for 6:35 p.m.
