LUDINGTON, MI – A Northern Michigan town known for its row of historic lumber baron homes will celebrate its logging heritage with a new fall festival next month.
Ludington Lumber Days is scheduled for Oct. 3-5 with events happening throughout the area, including a walking tour of historic homes, a logging camp reenactment, and more lumberjack-inspired fun, history, music and adventure.
In the late 1800s, Ludington was a lumber boom town with 14 sawmills on the banks of Pere Marquette Lake.
