BLUEFIELD, W.Va. — Coal operators and those in the mining industry in West Virginia, Virginia, and Kentucky will converge on Bluefield this week for the 25th Bi-Annual Bluefield Coal and Mining Show.

The event draws mine owners, operators, and equipment vendors from all over the world.

“They come to see what’s new and what’s innovative on safety and what’s new on the equipment. That way they can find out what is on hand that could enhance productivity at their mine. So yes, it’s viewed as a purchasing opportunity,” said Bob Ramsey, Chairman of the Event and owner of Peter’s Equipment.
