COLUMBIA, S.C. — The City of Columbia is teaming up with community partners to host the second and final Sistercare Saturday of the season on Saturday, September 13, at Boyd Plaza.

The event, running from 10 a.m. to noon, raises funds and awareness for Sistercare , a nonprofit that helps victims and families recover from domestic violence.

Visitors can enjoy yard games, raffle prizes and a dunk tank featuring local leaders, while also accessing resources from Sistercare, public safety agencies and the City of Columbia.

Local figures volunteering for the dunk booth include At-Large Councilwoman Aditi Bussells at 10 a.m., Fifth Circuit Solicitor Byron Gipson at 10:30 a.m., Office of Neighborhood Safety and Engagement Director Trevon Fordham at 11 a.m., and Columbia-Richland Assistant
