After Alabama football’s embarrassing loss to Florida State in Week 1, a video clip of Bray Hubbard began circulating on the internet. In a game where the Crimson Tide failed to show defensive effort , perhaps the most damning element of the loss, Hubbard became one of the poster children for not hustling to the ball.

A week later, during the Crimson Tide’s 73-0 win over Louisiana-Monroe, there was no more jogging on tape. Hubbard was flying around the field, registering three solo tackles before UA went to mostly backups in the second half.

On Tuesday, Hubbard spoke with reporters for the first time since the Florida State game. He was asked about his reaction when the clip of him not pursuing a play made its rounds.
