LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) -- Taylor Swift's 12th studio album, "The Life of a Showgirl," is slated to be released Oct. 3, and Target has announced that 500 stores will be open at midnight to allow fans to buy physical copies of the album when it releases.

There will be three special edition Target CDs.

In Michigan, 16 Target stores will open at midnight. This includes the location in Okemos. The Target editions will include an 8-page lyric booklet and exclusive posters.
