It's been a big year for Louisville drag queen Lexi Love.

Earlier this year, the Play Louisville playmate made waves on the popular "RuPaul's Drag Race," making it all the way to the finale.

This week, the Florence native found herself on another massive stage: the MTV Video Music Awards.

She and other queens from the show joined Sabrina Carpenter, one of the biggest names right now in pop music, for her performance of her new song "Tears."

The group danced alongside her and held up signs advocating for trans rights.

Carpenter went on to win Best Album of the Year.
