Police in Los Angeles say they found a body inside an impounded Tesla at a Hollywood tow yard.

The vehicle is reportedly registered to singer D4VD, whose real name is David Burke.

Officers responded to the location on Monday after a report of a foul odor coming from an impounded car.

There is no information yet about the identity of the body, which had been placed inside a bag and was discovered in the trunk of the Tesla.

According to police, the car had been at the impound lot for a couple of days.

David Burke is currently on his world tour and is expected to perform in Minneapolis on Tuesday.

Burke's representatives have not commented on the case.
