We are giving you the FIRST ALERT to a stretch of dry weather.

My goodness, after seeing a beautiful weekend throughout Eastern Kentucky, which continued for the day on Monday, we had a gorgeous day yet again as we had highs in the 70s with wall to wall sunshine.

High pressure, our nice fair-weathered friend, is in control and it will stay in control as we head into the next several days.

Now, there is a little bit of a caveat to this forecast, and that caveat is that as we go throughout the week, the temperature starts to creep back up.

We will see highs in the upper 70s and low 80s for Wednesday, and back into the mid 80s by this weekend.
