BISMARCK – The North Dakota Game and Fish Department has conducted its fall wild turkey lottery, and more than 1,200 licenses remain in 10 units, the department said in a news release.
Beginning at 8 a.m. CDT on Sept. 17, all remaining licenses will be issued on a first-come, first-served basis, Game and Fish said. Hunters are allowed a maximum of five licenses for the fall season.
Resident and nonresident hunters must purchase a license on the Game and Fish website at gf.nd.gov . The fall turkey season begins Oct. 11 and continues through Jan. 4, 2026.
